Hi Bold Bakers! I have to tell you honestly that drinking green tea is not my bag. I’m an Irish Breakfast Tea kinda gal. However, when it comes to Green Tea Starbucks Frappuccinos I’m down. I’ll admit the added sweetness in their Frappuccino does make the drink that much more delicious. The kind of sweetness that you know can’t be good for you. The kind that makes you think to yourself how many calories is this? My answer to you is “don’t ask questions that you don’t want the answers to.” Already have an account? Like a lot of people Starbucks is part of my everyday routine. In the morning I go for a tall Flat White to wake me up and then on birthdays and special occasions I get a Frappuccino. The reason I reserve them for these times is because they can tend to be heavy on the caloric side. Now I’m sure you know me well enough by now to know I’m not a calorie counter, but after a few regular visit to Starbucks those calories start to add up. In my humble opinion, my Frappuccinos taste just like the real thing but without the pumps of syrups and artificial flavors. Let’s try making them with all natural ingredients and let the results speak for themselves. I think our waistlines and wallets will thank us.  Like a lot of my recipes these are customizable to suit you. If you don’t like strawberries, use raspberries. If you don’t eat dairy use dairy-free milk like almond or soy. There really aren’t any strict rules you have to follow when it comes to these drinks. And on that note, come up with your own flavors, nothing is written in stone, get creative.
