Pork Chops and Gravy are a comfort food classic around my house. The warm, enticing smell always whets our appetites and we look forward to gathering around the table, dishing up good food and (usually) delightful conversation. I love to make our easy Crock Pot Pork Chops but on extremely hectic days, it’s so nice to just throw ingredients into the Instant Pot and have a beautiful supper ready in a fraction of the time.
Ingredients in Instant Pot Pork Chops
This recipe is a favorite because it uses simple, easy-to-find ingredients! Serve it over mashed potatoes or rice with a simple vegetable side dish and you have a delicious, healthy dinner everyone will love. Here’s all you need:
Boneless Pork Chops – about two pounds, or four pork chops for this recipe. You can use thin-cut chops or thicker pork chops. Kosher salt – to taste Cooking oil – I like to use vegetable oil, but you can substitute olive oil or canola oil. Onion soup mix – you can find these packets in the soup aisle at most grocery stores. Cream of mushroom soup – use two cans for this recipe or make your own homemade cream of mushroom soup. It’s so easy and delicious! Hidden Valley Ranch Mix – use one packet of dry dressing mix, not the bottled stuff! You can find the packets next to the salad dressings. Water – about a cup Salt and black pepper – to taste You can also add a teaspoon of garlic powder for more flavor.
