The chicken was baked to golden brown color, with a distinctly tropical flavor of pineapple, soy sauce and honey. I was instantly in love. I licked my fingers eating the chicken while looking out to the shimmering blue sea. While I couldn’t go back to Hawaii as I wished, this time of year is a great time to re-create some of my favorite foods, inspired by my past travels.
