Fruit Salsa
This fruit salsa recipe is such a fun and delicious spring and summer appetizer, dessert or snack. We love making this for cookouts and backyard summer parties with friends and family! I love how easy it is to just use up any fruit I have around the house. Truly anything goes for this recipe. My kids also love helping me make the cinnamon chips, which are so easy to make and can be used in a bunch of different dip recipes. This fresh fruit salsa is also delicious when served over vanilla ice cream or angel food cake.
Fruits that Make the Best Fruit Salsa
We used our favorite fruits in this recipe, but you can use absolutely any combination of fruit that you have on hand. We recommend fruits with mostly firm skin so that you can easily dice into small pieces. Give the fruit salsa an extra bit of flavor by squeezing lemon juice or lime juice over the salsa mixture. For a slightly savory flavor, sprinkle with some fresh cilantro. Let us know in the comments if you’ve added any other fruits to this recipe!

How Long Does Fruit Salsa Last
Depending on which types of fruit you use, this fruit salsa can last for up to three days if stored properly covered in the refrigerator. However, some fruits, like bananas, will go mushy rather quickly. So again, try to opt for fruits with a firmer skin so they can be easily diced and can last longer in the salsa. The longer the fruit sits in all the delicious juices, the better the salsa tastes!
Step by Step Instructions for Making Cinnamon Chips
These cinnamon chips are so easy to make and they are delicious! Serve them alone or drizzled with honey, or you can use them to scoop up a variety of different sweet dips. Some of my favorites are:
Pumpkin Dip Easy Cream Cheese Fruit Dip Caramel Cream Dip
When you make the cinnamon chips, you want to start by brushing each side of the raw tortillas with butter. Then you generously sprinkle both sides of the tortilla with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Using a pizza cutter (or a large sharp knife) cut the tortillas into 8 slices. It should look just like a pizza. Place the slices (your chips!) in a single layer on a greased baking sheet. Then bake for about five to ten minutes or until they’re crispy and slightly golden in color. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving. These cinnamon tortilla chips can also be swapped with cinnamon pita chips. If you don’t have any pitas or tortillas on hand, cinnamon graham crackers will work too.
