Hi Bold Bakers! I’m so excited for summer to be upon us again! As the weather warms up each year, I love creating new and easy summer desserts for you to try. Since I know many of you have loved my popsicle recipes, I’m back this summer with 3 sugar-free fruit popsicles that are going to cool you off and keep the whole family feeling like they’re on vacation. These 3 Fruit Popsicles aren’t the typical 1-note frozen dessert. They’re your favorite fruity drinks frozen into healthy snacks. Chill out with my tropical Piña Colada, sweet Ginger Peach Tea, and classic Pink Lemonade Popsicles.
How Do You Make a Popsicle?
Making my popsicles is simply a matter of mixing fruit juice or tea with fresh fruit and honey. After that, I pour the mixture into the mold and freeze for a minimum of 6 hours. Once frozen, these babies will keep in the freezer for up to six weeks. For those of you that haven’t tried making my 5 Best Popsicles for Summer or 5 All Natural Fruit Popsicles, the trick is setting them. I’ve tried many popsicle molds but the best I’ve used is my Sweet Creations Popsicle Maker Set along with my Sweet Creations 50-Count Pattern Wooden Popsicle Sticks. Having this mold makes shaping your popsicles so much easier. The set fits together perfectly and there’s no confusion about where to put the sticks. Plus, these popsicles are gorgeous when you pop them out of the mold. If you’re looking for healthy snack ideas, my popsicle recipes are great for kids, friends, and family. You can even make your own flavor combinations and with no added sugar. My piña colada, freshly-squeezed raspberry lemonade, and peach tea are just examples of great flavors to try. The possibilities are endless!
Pink Lemonade Popsicles
Pink lemonade is a summertime classic and my recipe is made with just two ingredients for twice the refreshment: tart lemonade and fresh raspberries. With the addition of a touch of lime and a bit of lemon zest, this sweet and fruity popsicle is perfection. Get my Pink Lemonade Popsicles recipe.
Ginger Peach Tea Popsicles
Ginger is to peach as peanut butter is to jelly. In other words, they are a match made in heaven. You’ll often find this combo in cocktails and mixed with black or peach tea for extra depth of flavor. My fragrant mix is made with strong peach tea, spiced with freshly grated ginger and sweetened with frozen peach puree. I couldn’t think of anything better to relax on the porch with on a hot afternoon. Get my Ginger Peach Tea Popsicles recipe.
Piña Colada Popsicles
What could be better than a cold Piña Colada on a pool deck? My Piña Colada Popsicles are the epitome of beauty. Take your taste buds on a vacation with layers of rich coconut milk, a touch of honey and fresh pineapple puree and you’ll be cruising in no time. Get my Piña Colada Popsicles recipe.
